Patches from upstream vendors have been released and are currently being deployed across the fleet in rolling waves. Our technical team is monitoring system stability throughout the rollout. All PHP versions from 5.2 to 8.5 are receiving patches, however we strongly recommend you update to PHP 8.2 or later through Mission Control as soon as possible. Before upgrading, we recommend checking that your themes and plugins are compatible. If you check php -v or WordPress Site Health and still see PHP 8.3.35 or 8.4.26, that's expected. Our server OS vendor has backported the security fixes directly into the existing PHP release rather than changing the base version number. You can confirm the status by asking our team or checking that the Build Date shown in a phpinfo() is October 21st or later. Further to the patches, all websites hosted on Rocket.net also benefit from an additional layer of protection through Cloudflare Enterprise WAF. These mitigations complement the PHP security patches and provide additional protection. Cloudflare worked directly with the PHP Foundation to role out protections to all websites automatically.
